Andrew Love, la metà dei Memphis Horns ci ha lasciati.  Andrew era parte della famiglia del Porretta Soul Festival.  La sua ultima presenza a Porretta risale al 2001 nell’edizione che si svolse a Bologna. Subito dopo avvertiva i primi sintomi del morbo di Alzheimer , malattia che lo avrebbe colpito pesantemente. Un caro saluto a Pee Wee Love a tutta la famiglia.

Standing Ovation per il Lifetime Grammy Award ai Memphis Horns. Hanno ritirato il premio Wayne Jackson a Pee Wee Love, moglie di Andrew Love che dal 2004 si è ritirato dalle scene a causa del morbo di Alzheimer. Sul palco erano presenti  anche Amy Jackson e il figlio di Andrew, Andrea.
